Winnsboro ISD is offering an optional WHS student device protection plan to protect against damage incurred to the student’s assigned device. Students/Parents/Guardians who do not purchase the WISD Student Technology Device Protection Plan are 100% financially responsible for all repairs and/or replacement. Please enter your student's name when purchasing the ticket for insurance. If you have multiple students please purchase a ticket for each student. Earlier today the Winnsboro Memorial Intermediate campus was placed on a secure lock out due to suspicious activity reported near the campus by WMIS students. Our WISD police and local law enforcement officers responded immediately, secured the area, and determined there was no threat to the safety of our students and staff. The lock out has been lifted and all students and staff are safe.

Show your school spirit and support the Red Raiders! Starting Friday, August 25 your Red Raider Cheerleaders will be selling tattoos at Winnsboro Elementary School and Winnsboro Memorial Intermediate in the morning before school. Tattoos are $.50 each and will be for sale on the following Fridays: Friday, August 25 Friday, September 8 Friday, September 22 Friday, October 20 GO RAIDERS!!!!!

Rugged Red Football Stadium Parking information is below. Fans that are in a wheel chair are encouraged to park in the visitor handicapped parking spaces. However, there are designated handicapped parking spaces on each entrance of the field.

What a great night had by all at this week's "Meet the Raiders" event! We can't wait for those Friday Night Lights!!!!!

Due to federal qualifications established by the NSLP, all students attending Winnsboro Elementary and Winnsboro Memorial Intermediate School will be provided breakfast and lunch for free for the 2023-2024 school-year. Students attending Winnsboro Junior High and Winnsboro High School will need to complete the NSLP meal application to qualify for free or reduced meals.

Attention Parents : If your child is attending Winnsboro ISD for the 2023-2024 school year, please make sure you have signed into your parent portal account and registered your student for this coming school year before the start of school on Tuesday 8/15/2023. You must re-register your student every year since permission forms have to be signed yearly. If you have questions or issues with registering your student for the 23/24 school year, please contact your campus office.

Free Haircut Information: If you contacted your campus to sign up for a girls haircut you will be contacted by the salon this week to schedule an appointment. If you received a ticket for a boys haircut you can redeem your haircut on Monday, August 14 between 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Any student who attends Winnsboro Elementary, Winnsboro Intermediate or Winnsboro Junior High School is eligible to receive a free hair cut. Boys can pick up a free hair cut voucher at their campus on Thursday, August 10-Friday, August 11, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Girls need to contact their campus office, leave their information and will be contacted to schedule an appointment. You must contact your campus and leave your information by 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 10.

WISD staff is participating in School Safety Training at the High School today, Wednesday, August 9. The WHS campus will be closed to all visitors during the training. The training should be complete around 1 p.m.
