The Winnsboro HS robotics team competed in the Dallas Best Game Day Robotics Competition in Farmers Branch TX on Nov. 4th.
Redwater ISD treats WISD to a lunch for coming to their rescue.  They transported their band students to competition in Mineola when their bus broke down.
Mr. Lovorn was presented with the “Mirabeau B. Lamar Award of Excellence” for exemplary achievement by the Gus Garrison Masonic Lodge.  He received the award Monday night at the WISD FFA Hay Show.

NO PARKING AT TRACK

Road block image

Due to construction at the new high school site, barricades will be in place to prevent vehicles from accessing the track behind the elementary school. You may still use the track but you will need to park at the elementary and walk to the track. Thank you for your cooperation.

Academic Calendar for 2018-19

The 2018-19 calendar is in the process of being finalized. Minor adjustments are being made, but this calendar is suitable to use for planning purposes.

Important Announcement For Parents and Community Members Visiting WISD Campuses

Rules for visiting campuses

Starting Monday, February 26th 2018, Everyone coming onto a WISD Campus will need a Proper Form of Identification to show the Front Office. Also, there will be a Licensed Police/Law Enforcement Officer on Each WISD Campus from 7:30 AM until the end of the school day. Building relationships and trust between all of our students, parents, and community is essential to ensuring safety for all.

Approved District of Innovation Plan

TheDistrict of Innovation Plan has been approved by the Board of Trustees. The plan now has a permanent home under About - Required Postings - Governance.
