School safety is on the mind of every parent, student, and school employee today. In light of recent events and subsequent discussions, we have received questions about what WISD is doing to ensure that our children are able to work daily in an atmosphere where they can focus on learning.
Starting Monday, February 26th 2018, Everyone coming onto a WISD Campus will need a Proper Form of Identification to show the Front Office. Also, there will be a Licensed Police/Law Enforcement Officer on Each WISD Campus from 7:30 AM until the end of the school day. Building relationships and trust between all of our students, parents, and community is essential to ensuring safety for all.
Please take opportunity to look at the proposed WISD District of Innovation Plan.
