
Winnsboro ISD WILL SERVE UP GOOD NUTRITION FOR LOCAL CHILDREN THIS SUMMER. Winnsboro ISD will provide children 18 years-old and younger and those enrolled WISD students with disabilities up to 21 years old with healthy, no cost summer meals.
We will be serving at the following locations :
Winnsboro High School – May 28th – June 13 (M-Th)
Breakfast 7:30-10:00 AM Lunch 11:00 – 12:30 PM
Winnsboro Elementary - June 13th – June 22nd (M-Th)
Breakfast 7:30-10:00 AM Lunch 11:00 – 12:30 PM
Winnsboro High School ONLY June 17th -19th and June 24th – 26th
Breakfast 7:30-10:00 AM Lunch 11:30 – 12:30 PM

Parents, please pick up all medications from your child's nurse's office by thisThursday. All medication will be disposed of after Friday, May 24th.

The WISD Education Foundation presented WISD with $30,060 to fund the 2024 teacher grants during today's school board meeting! Thank you so much to this great group of volunteers!!


Senior acitivites are in full swing as we are now in the last month of the school-year. This week the class of 2024 went to area businesses to register for gifts, get sweet treats, and learn some financial life skills!

Winnsboro High School FCCLA students participated in the annual job shadow days this month. Students visited various local businesses to gain insight on different careers.

A representitive from iCEV presented WHS with a banner honoring our students who recieved a Career and Technical Education (CTE) industry based certification during the 2022-2023 school-year.

Parents, We wanted to inform you that WJH and WHS are offering testing to help identify young students who may be at risk for sudden cardiac death. This screening could be crucial in diagnosing various heart conditions.

WHS sophmore, Micah Denison honored English 2 teacher Becky Morris by awarding her an Eagle Scout Mentor Pin.


This week, we had the pleasure of hosting the Southern Arkansas University's Symphonic Wind Ensemble at Winnsboro ISD! As part of their spring tour, they performed for all of our WISD band students. It was a truly inspiring experience for everyone involved! Huge thanks to SAU's talented musicians for sharing their passion with us!
