WISD was so excited to welcome all of our students this morning for the first day of school! Our classrooms are once again filled with eager learners and dedicated staff, ready to make this an amazing year. Here’s to a great 2025–2026 school year!
The first day of school is tomorrow, and we are so excited to welcome our students back!
Traffic Reminder: Please allow extra time during the morning and afternoon commute, and keep these safety tips in mind:
One-Way Traffic:
From 7–8 a.m. and again 3–4 p.m. Monday–Friday on school days, South Post Oak will be one-way from Coke Road to Newsome Street to allow for school drop-off and pick-up traffic.
School Bus Safety:
Flashing Yellow Lights means the bus is preparing to stop. Slow down, stay alert, and watch for children.
Extended Stop-Arm means you must come to a complete stop until the arm is retracted.
Let’s work together to keep our students safe and make tomorrow’s first day smooth for everyone!
