The Lady Raiders would like to give a special thanks to retired Winnsboro basketball coach and TABC Hall of Fame member Buddy Hawkins and his wife Barb. They cooked a team meal of fajitas and desserts. Thank you Coach Hawkins for your many contributions to the Lady Raider program! Also, in honor of National Athletic Trainers Month, The Lady Raiders would like to give a special thanks to Athletic Trainer Kasie Bell for her tireless efforts in keeping us healthy! We appreciate you! Joining the Lady Raiders for their team meal was Taryn Davis, Darren Swanner and David Rose. They have done an amazing job of broadcasting games for our fans who could not be in attendance. Dr. Rose also brought a message to the girls before their team meal. Thank you all for your support and Go Lady Raiders!!




It’s another exciting day for WISD. The first load of material for your new WISD Animal Science facility has just arrived!!!

Tomorrow, Friday, February 25, is an early release day. All classes will release at 1 p.m.


All WISD classes will start at 10 a.m. today. Sorry for any confusion.

WISD has been closely monitoring road conditions since making our initial announcement,and we have determined that all classes will start 2 hours later than normal as previously announced.
Buses will also run 2 hours later.

WISD will have a 2 hour late start today.

Winnsboro ISD is closely monitoring the weather forecast for this week. We will notify parents, students, and staff if it becomes necessary to delay or close due to inclement weather.
Notifications will be communicated on the district website, district app, social media sites and using our district-wide alert system. We will also make local media aware of any schedule changes.
If no announcement is made, classes will proceed as normally scheduled.


Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration for the 22-23 school year will begin March 1st and continue thru March 31st. We will be out for Spring Break the week of March 14th-18th and there will not be anyone in the office during that time. I have attached a letter stating all of the documents we will require upon registering your child. If you have any further questions please contact our office at 903-342-3548. Thank you!
