All ticket and concession stand proceeds from this Friday’s home basketball games will be donated to supporting two families who have each recently faced a tragic loss.

WISD administrators have spoken with Harmony ISD coaches and the varsity basketball games will be played in Harmony today. Varsity girls will begin at 4:30 followed by Varsity boys.

Tuesday’s basketball games have been cancelled and rescheduled for Wednesday. There will be no JV games. Varsity girls will begin at 4:30 followed by Varsity boys.
Due to concerns regarding road conditions, all WISD schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16. The safety of our staff and students is our top priority. Decisions regarding athletics will be made tomorrow. We will also continue to monitor conditions and announce any additional delays or closures promptly. Stay safe and warm everyone!

We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of one of our Winnsboro Elementary Students. Our deepest condolences go out to the family. In support, counselors will be available at the school to assist students and staff through this difficult time. Please keep the family and the school community in your thoughts and prayers.

WHS Interact Club Spring Fling 5K
You can add completing a 5K to your fitness goals for this New Year! You can run or walk. This event is hosted by and benefits the Winnsboro High School Interact Club.
The link to register will be in the comments. It is $10 for students and $15 for adults until March 1st, then prices will increase. You can also purchase a shirt for an additional $15.
