We're thrilled to share that our talented WHS students have been diving into hands-on learning like never before at our new meat lab! Today, under the expert guidance of our dedicated teacher, they embarked on an immersive journey into the world of beef carcass fabrication.

Reminder! Parent and student FASFA night is tomorrow night from 5-7 p.m. at the WHS Library.

WHS Cheer and Mascot tryout sign ups are going on now! Interested students must be signed up no later that Friday, February, 23, 2024. Packets and sign up sheets are in the WJH and WHS offices. Cheer Tryouts are on March 8, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at the WHS gym. The mandatory clinic is on March, 4, 2024 4-6 p.m. at the WHS Gym. All packets must be returned to the office or at the clinic on March 4, 2024. Signups for Varsity are open to all freshmen, sophomores and juniors. Sign ups for JV are open to all 8th grade students.

At WISD, we understand the challenges of parenting in today's world, especially when it comes to the mental health and well-being of our teenagers. That's why we're excited to invite you to our upcoming workshop on Teen Mental Health and Suicide Awareness. This session is designed to provide valuable insights, practical strategies, and a supportive community to help navigate the unique challenges our teens face. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Winnsboro High School Cafetorium. Dinner and child care will be provided.
