WISD schools will release at 1 p.m. this Friday, November 18 to allow for the district to safely transport our students to all of the WISD activities scheduled for Friday.

The Raiders will be playing Malakoff at 7:30 p.m. at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium located at 609 Fair Park Drive Tyler, TX 75702. Rose Stadium has a strict Clear Bag Policy. Winnsboro will be the visiting team.

Chick-fil-A Day is Thursday, November 17th at Winnsboro schools. The Rotary Club of Winnsboro will deliver $8 lunch including: Chick-fil-A sandwich, chips and cookies. Order envelopes will be sent home with your WES, WMIS and WJHS student. WHS orders will be coordinated by the office. All orders must be returned to your student’s school by Monday, November 14th. Lunch is pre order only; no lunches sold on Chick-fil-A Day. There is NO online ordering.
This is a fundraiser that benefits our students and community projects like Rotary Park and WISD Teacher $50 Teacher Classroom Grants.

Tickets for Winnsboro Junior High basketball games can be purchased online at the link below. Basketball season passes are for High School girls and boys basketball games only. All junior high tickets will need to be purchased separately.

Tonight’s Lady Raiders basketball game against Bullard has been postponed by Bullard ISD. We will post an updated schedule once we have that information.
All WISD events and the school day will continue as regularly scheduled today Friday, November 4. We will post any updates or changes on our social media pages.

WISD will release all schools at 1 p.m. Friday, October, 28.
At approximately 10:30 a.m. this morning at Winnsboro High School an incident occurred where 22-caliber bullets fell out of a student’s pocket and onto the hallway floor.
School resource officers and administrators immediately began investigating the incident.
It was determined that no weapon was on school property and no students were in danger at any time.
Ensuring the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.

DUB-TOWN TRIVIA SHOWDOWN
The event will be held on Friday, November 4th at 7:00pm at the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
It is sure to be a night of good food and hearty laughter. Individual tickets can be purchased for $25, but table sponsorship information is below:
• $150 Woodchuck Level Sponsor- 6 tickets/ reserved table and sponsorship noted in promotional material
• $250 Braves Level Sponsor- 6 tickets/ reserved table, sponsorship noted in promotional material and on photo backdrop
• $500 Raider Level Sponsor- 12 tickets/ 2 reserved tables, sponsorship noted in promotional material and on photo backdrop, and a commemorative memorabilia gift
Additionally, these options are available:
• $50 Papoose Level- 2 tickets and sponsorship noted in promotional material
• $100 Quiver Level- 4 tickets and sponsorship noted in promotional material
We understand that some will not be able to attend the Dub-town Trivia Showdown but would like to support in other ways. WISDEF accepts monetary donations.
