The Winnsboro Jr High Vex IQ team made their debut at a full tournament in New Diana, marking a milestone in their robotics journey. Despite being newcomers, the team demonstrated exceptional talent, representing Winnsboro with pride and learning valuable lessons throughout the competition. The credit for their success goes to Mr. Ray Pilgrim, who dedicated numerous hours volunteering after school to provide these young minds with the opportunity to explore the exciting world of robotics. The team's performance was commendable, and Winnsboro eagerly anticipates their future achievements.

The Winnsboro RaiderPrime FTC team 16756 also made waves in their recent competition. Finishing the Qualification match undefeated, the team achieved their highest Autonomous score record, showcasing their proficiency in robotics technology. As the first-place alliance captain, they demonstrated outstanding skills throughout the tournament, ultimately securing the 2nd place alliance position. The team received additional recognition with the 3rd place Connect award and the 3rd place Innovate Award, solidifying their place as one of the top teams in the competition. Their success has propelled them to the next level, and Winnsboro High School eagerly looks forward to their performance at Woodrow Wilson High School on February 10th.
